Girlhood Gems

  Some of my favourite parts of being a girl! Girlhood is such a magical time filled with moments that shape us as girls, that bring us joy and memories that will last us a lifetime. There are many simple pleasures of girlhood that we all embrace daily without even recognising what we are doing. All of us girls experience such similar things in our day to day lives without even recognising that and that is something that I find indescribably beautiful- we will talking more about these small pleasures throughout this blog post! Some of my personal favourite things about girlhood: Making Spotify playlists! There is such an art to making Spotify playlists that I feel that only a girl can understand. With every heartbroken girl there is a Spotify playlist made with her favourite songs that she gets emotional to or sometimes even cries to- one of my favourite sad songs to add to my heartbroken playlists is "You're losing me" by Taylor Swift. An Introduction to Girlhood


 Welcome to the first 'Becoming Her' blog post, girls!!

I am beyond excited for all of you to be reading this blog, especially this post as it is our first one. In this blog post I am going to be giving more of an insight into what you can expect for 'Becoming Her', and going through a few of the topics that I'm so excited for us to dive into!

So the question that we are all asking ourselves- What is 'Becoming Her' really about?

To put it simply, ‘Becoming Her’ is all about embracing who you are, growing into the person you want to be, and navigating all the changes that come with being a girl. Girlhood is a magical time for every girl; it is a time filled with excitement, curiosity and growth. Girlhood is all about discovering who you really are and what your passions are in life. Sometimes, girlhood can become a very difficult and confusing time for us all, that's where this blog is going to come in!

'Becoming Her' isn’t just a blog—it’s a community. I want this to be a place where you feel heard and where your experiences and thoughts are valued. I encourage you to share your own stories, ask questions, and suggest topics you’d like to see covered. Let’s make this a journey we take together, supporting and lifting each other up along the way.
